A Lenovo product can obtain a carbon neutral certification when Lenovo reduces its own emissions, where possible, and purchases carbon offsets to counterbalance any residual emissions to cover the expected life of the product (we assume 4 years).
Lenovo recognizes that human activities, including its own operations, are contributing to climate change and is working to help minimize climate risks – as a result, select products have received carbon neutral certification. To achieve this, Lenovo considers the environmental impacts of a product’s design, use and manufacture to facilitate carbon footprint reduction, where possible, and offsets residual emissions though the purchase of high-quality carbon credits.
Selecting a Lenovo carbon neutral certified product allows a consumer to support his or her own carbon emission reduction goals while using a high-quality product.
