Easily attach the X1 Fold onto the optional ThinkPad Bluetooth TrackPoint Keyboard & Stand in landscape, portrait, or laptop mode. The full-sized keyboard features an integrated fingerprint reader, haptic touchpad, TrackPoint, and conveniently, an adjustable kickstand. Plus, it's backlit, Bluetooth® connected, and magnetically attaches to the bottom screen to give you a fantastic 12″ laptop experience.

The optional Lenovo Precision Pen with 4K pressure sensitivity is ideal for notetaking and drawing. Shading is a cinch with tilt detection too. What’s more, beyond-epic battery life runs about 400 days, and the pen includes three configurable short-cut buttons to enhance productivity. Also, the pen can be conveniently attached to the X1 Fold magnetically so it’s always at the ready, or simply stow it in your bag for transporting.

The X1 Fold delivers seamless protection with our suite of ThinkShield security solutions from the moment you log in, whether with facial recognition using the infrared camera or the secure fingerprint reader on the optional keyboard. The optional Intel® Visual Sensing Controller allows the screen to dim or turn off if you’re not looking—and it even locks your device if you step away. Trusted Platform Module firmware encrypts your critical data for further protection.
Tough enough
The innovative hinge on the X1 Fold creates a bell shape, allowing it to fold completely flat. The fan-less design disperses thermals to create ideal temperatures throughout. The flexible HDR OLED display is made to endure the rigors of folding and unfolding. And the aluminum chassis is tough — and leads with style. What’s more, we use the US Department of Defense's MIL-STD 810H standards testing against 12 standards, 26 procedures, and more than 200 quality checks to ensure ThinkPads run in extreme conditions, continuing our legacy of trusted quality and reliability.

You can even receive notifications on your laptop, as well as messaging. No need to switch devices when you can do it all in one place.
