From our earliest days, we have embraced a global mindset, blending two distinct cultures of East and West into one company, and integrating the businesses into a multi-headquarter operational model that allows us to centralize processes and platforms, while enabling local flexibility.

We know that businesses thrive when there's equality among gender - at all levels of an organization. Thanks to global initiatives like the Women’s Leadership Development Program, women represent 18.2% of all individuals promoted to executive ranks within Lenovo, and Chairman and CEO, Yang Yuanqing has doubled his number of female direct reports since 2016. As a sponsor of the Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society we’re helping to ensure that women’s voices are heard within Lenovo and around the world.

We believe that technology companies have and the capability and the profound responsibility to champion diversity and inclusion. Not only in the products and services we provide, but also in the values we foster and our internal practices. Innovating for a diverse world requires a diversity of perspective. As such, diversity is a business imperative at Lenovo. It ensures that we not only embrace the best, most disruptive ideas. It also allows us to better understand and address our customers’ needs.

Lenovo has always pursued a path of inclusion and we’ve built a culture where all can belong—but our work is not done. With new research, data, and insights, we continue to evolve our approach of building inclusive leadership behaviors and fostering diverse and inclusive systems through increased accountability and training.
