For brilliant sights and sounds, the ThinkPad T16 excels. While the 16'' touchscreen option boasts Dolby Vision™ and certified Eyesafe® low blue-light technology, each display has an expansive 16:10 aspect ratio for more screen real estate. Plus, Dolby Audio™ speaker system with Dolby Voice® come as standard to enhance your video calls and downtime.
It pays to be well connected
The ThinkPad T16 has a choice of two large capacity batteries, each able to run all-day on a single charge. It has an array of ports, including HDMI and USB-C. as well as blazing-fast connectivity options, including WiFi 6E. And it has a full-sized keyboard with a number pad, perfect for crunching even the biggest of numbers.
*WiFi 6E requires Windows 11 Pro. Operation is dependent on the support of the operating system, routers/APs/gateways that support WiFi 6E, along with the regional regulatory certifications and spectrum allocation.
Smarter protection, from the inside out
Like every ThinkPad, the ThinkPad T16 has robust security features built in. This includes AMD Memory Guard, real-time, full-system memory encryption, as well as enhanced Microsoft chip-to-cloud security technology. In addition to the Power-On touch fingerprint reader, the optional FHD + IR camera will alert you if someone is trying to view your laptop over your shoulder.
Engineered with an eye towards recycling
Even with all its productivity- and creativity-enhancing features, this ThinkPad was designed with recycling in mind. We used recycled post-consumer content (PCC) in various components, including 97% in the speaker enclosure, 97% in the battery compartment, and 95% in the power adapter. Plus, the packaging uses recycled and/or sustainably forested materials and recycled PCC cardboard cushioning.

Reliability you can count on
We use the US Department of Defense's MIL-STD 810H standards to create a balance of reliability and durability for our ThinkPad laptops. Measured against 12 stringent standards and more than 200 quality checks, they’re able to run in the harshest of conditions, from the Arctic wilderness to desert dust storms. Our tests also include temperature, pressure, humidity, vibration, and more.
