Even though entries are now closed, Lenovo hopes the experiment videos on You Tube and download materials can still be the inspiration for classroom projects. Thank you for encouraging students to submit their ideas. The quality of submissions is very impressive!
As a global leader in computing, Lenovo holds a special focus on science, technology, engineering and mathematics and is dedicated to helping schools improve learning outcomes.
We challenged young scientists to design a science experiment that could be performed by NASA aboard the International Space Station. We received thousands of ideas which the world voted on and now the six regional winners will visit Washington, DC in March and be treated to a taste of space travel on an unforgettable zero-gravity flight. Two of these teams will then become the global winners and see their experiment performed in space and live streamed on YouTube.
Can gravity be substituted by magnetism? Can water orbit a charged rod in space?
Will the winners' experiments unlock the answers? Visit the You Tube Space Lab channel and find out.
