Lenovo is in a cosmic class of its own

Lenovo in space

Lenovo's legendary ThinkPad is the laptop
currently certified for use on the International
Space Station. This ultimate Do machine has
undergone extreme testing to qualify for
flight-approved duties, just like the
astronauts who rely on its speed,
power and performance.

Featuring magnesium-alloy roll cages,
advanced inter-cooling mechanisms,
an onboard accelerometer and biometric
fingerprint readers, the ThinkPad is
a galactic leap in technology.

Even though entries are now closed, Lenovo hopes the experiment videos on YouTube and download materials can still be the inspiration for classroom projects. Thank you for encouraging students to submit their ideas. The quality of submissions is very impressive!

As a global leader in computing, Lenovo holds a special focus on science, technology, engineering and mathematics and is dedicated to helping schools improve learning outcomes.

About
YouTube Space Lab

We challenged young scientists to design a science experiment that could be performed by NASA aboard
the International Space Station. We received thousands of ideas which the world voted on and now the
six regional winners will visit Washington, DC in March and be treated to a taste of space travel on an
unforgettable zero-gravity flight. Two of these teams will then become the global winners and see their experiment
performed in space and live streamed on YouTube.

Can gravity be substituted by magnetism? Can water orbit a charged rod in space?
Will the winners' experiments unlock the answers? Visit the You Tube Space Lab channel and find out.
