With 8 memory slots and a scalable memory capacity of 64GB, the ThinkServer RD230 offers the horsepower required for increasingly demanding workloads.

Scaleable Storage Technology

The RD230 offers scalable storage capacity up to 8TB and a choice of high-performance SAS hard drives or low-cost SATA hard drives — which provides storage scalability to grow within your solution needs. Additionally, built-in hot swap capability allows you to remove and insert hard drives without having to power down the server, which optimizes server up-time.

Advanced Data Protection

The RD230 comes standard with advanced SATA RAID (0, 1, 5, 10), so you get advanced data protection right out of the box. Plus, with options for advanced SAS/SATA RAID available, you can set just the right balance between performance and capacity.
