We made sure the ThinkPad Edge keyboard retained our traditional feel but we gave it a
makeover, creating a more clean, contemporary, inviting look. Gone are the embedded function
keys and little-used keys like SysRq. In come uniform black keys and re-designed function
keys. Select models even feature an illuminated keyboard that improves low-light visibility and
lends elegance.

Jumbo jets can't land on a tiny runway; likewise, touchpads must be able to accommodate all
types and sizes of fingers. ThinkPad Edge Series systems offer a large, multitouch touchpad with
an oversized landing area so fingers can pinch, zoom and scroll with ease.
