LIU Chuanzhi Chairman of the Board
Liu Chuanzhi is chairman of the board of Lenovo Group Limited. Mr. Liu returned to the position of chairman in 2009 after previously holding that role from the company’s founding in 1984 until Lenovo’s merger with the IBM Personal Computer Division in 2005. Under Mr. Liu’s leadership, Lenovo – originally known as Legend – rose from a small start-up to become the leading PC company in China and then a global company.
Mr. Liu has been named one of the “Twenty-Five Most Influential Worldwide Business Leaders” by Time magazine, one of the “Best Asian Business Leaders” by Forbes, and one of the “Stars of Asia” by BusinessWeek.

YANG Yuanqing Chief Executive Officer
Yang Yuanqing is the chief executive officer of Lenovo, returning to this role in 2009 having held the job from 2001-2005. In between terms as CEO, he served as chairman of the board of Lenovo Group Limited. Mr. Yang joined Lenovo in 1989. Under his leadership, Lenovo has been China's best-selling PC brand since 1997. In 1999, Lenovo ranked as first in PC sales in Asia-Pacific (excluding Japan) and has maintained this position ever since.
Mr. Yang has been named “Asian Businessman of the Year,” Forbes Asia. He also was named as one of the “Stars of Asia” by BusinessWeek magazine and has been selected by the Chinese media as one of China's "Ten Star Entrepreneurs" and "Ten Most Valuable Managers." He was also named by CCTV as a "Man of the Year" in 2004. He holds a master’s degree from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Science and Technology of China. Mr. Yang is also a member of the National Youth Association Committee, director of China's Entrepreneurs’ Association, a guest professor at the University of Science and Technology of China, and a member of the New York Stock Exchange's International Advisory Committee.

Peter BARTOLOTTA Senior Vice President, Global Services
Pete Bartolotta is senior vice president, Global Services, for Lenovo Group. He leads a global team that is primarily responsible for supporting, servicing and maintaining ongoing relationships with customers in more than 160 countries for a $15+ billion PC business.
Prior to assuming this role in July 2009, Mr. Bartolotta was vice president and chief of staff reporting to the company’s President and Chief Operating Officer. In that role he was directly responsible for implementing and executing Lenovo’s Global Business Management Systems and was a key contributor to the development and implementation of Lenovo’s global strategy.
Prior to joining Lenovo, Peter led NCR Corporation’s $1.3 billion Global Retail Product Management Function, which provided hardware, software and services to retail customers around the world. He was also vice president, Operations and Six Sigma, at AlliedSignal Turbocharging Systems, where he was responsible for operations for an organization with manufacturing capability in 11 countries, employing more than 4,000 people and delivering $1.4 billion in revenue. Before that, Mr. Bartolotta spent 16 years with IBM Corporation in various management capacities, including director and site manager of Operations for the IBM Personal Computer Company in Research Triangle Park, NC. Additionally, from 2005-2007, Mr. Bartolotta owned a real estate development company in Austin, Texas.
A native of New York, Mr. Bartolotta holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin Executive Program and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the State University of New York at Binghamton. He holds a U.S. patent (earned while at IBM) and has published several technical papers.

CHEN Shaopeng Senior Vice President, Emerging Markets
Chen Shaopeng, senior vice president, Lenovo and president, Lenovo Emerging Market Group, is responsible for marketing, sales and operations throughout all emerging markets including Greater China, India, ASEAN, Russia, Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia regions (over 160 countries).
Prior to this, Mr. Chen was President of Lenovo GCR (Greater China & Russia). Under his leadership, Lenovo GCR accounted for approximately 40% of Lenovo’s sales revenues and more than 50% of worldwide profits.
Mr. Chen joined Lenovo in 1993 as a sales representative and then held leadership roles in marketing, sales, and channel management in the IT product sector. Mr. Chen went on to become vice president, Lenovo Group, in 2001, overseeing the Commercial Desktop Business Unit, marketing and sales, then his responsibilities expanded to nationwide level in April 2004. He was promoted to senior vice president and president, Greater China, in April 2006.
Mr. Chen was awarded the prestigious “Man of the Year” by China Central TV (CCTV) in 2007.
Mr. Chen graduated in 1992 from the Beijing Technology and Business University (formerly the Beijing Institute of Light Industry) with a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a focus on computer science. In 2005, he received an EMBA from Tsinghua University. In 2008, he attended the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.

Milko Van DUIJL Senior Vice President, Mature Markets
Milko van Duijl is senior vice president, Lenovo and president, Lenovo Mature Markets Group, overseeing all business in western Europe, the United States, Canada, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and Global Accounts, including large enterprises, SMB and consumer.
Prior to that he was president, Lenovo Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and senior vice-president, Lenovo Group. Starting in May 2005, he held the position of the general manager, Lenovo Europe, Middle East, Africa. Mr. Van Duijl held the previous role of vice president, IBM Personal Computing Division EMEA from August 2003 to May 1, 2005. Under his leadership, IBM PCD EMEA achieved a significant turnaround, increased share in its markets and drove profitable growth.

LIU Jun Senior Vice President, IDEA Product Group
Liu Jun is senior vice president, Product Group, where he oversees product development and portfolio management for Lenovo’s product line. Previously, he led IDEA product line. Before that, he was president of the Consumer Business Group and senior vice president of Lenovo Group.
Previously, Mr. Liu served as senior vice president, Global Supply Chain, where he had responsibility for global procurement, logistics, fulfillment and sales support, supply planning, strategy and manufacturing operations. Before that, he was senior vice president and chief operating officer of Lenovo China, with responsibility for profit/loss and all aspects of the business. Mr. Liu also was the architect of the company's PC supply chain model. He also held a broad range of leadership positions including leader of the Consumer business in China, research and development, corporate strategy, the Desktop PC business unit, and Integrated Supply Chain, giving him extensive experience in IT operations, research, development and marketing.

David ROMAN Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer
David Roman is senior vice president and chief marketing officer at Lenovo, responsible for driving all marketing activities for the global personal computer maker.
Prior to joining Lenovo, David was vice president of worldwide marketing communications for Hewlett-Packard's Personal Systems Group, responsible for driving advertising, media relations and marketing services. He was responsible for HP’s award winning “The Computer is Personal Again” campaign.
Before HP, David was vice president of Corporate and International Marketing at NVIDIA. He also held a number of different marketing leadership roles at Apple Computer in Europe, Asia Pacific and the USA. His last Apple role was vice president of worldwide advertising and brand marketing.
David graduated from the Queensland University of Technology (Australia) with a degree in Architecture after starting his architectural studies at the Polytechnic of Torino (Italy). He also pursued executive MBA studies at INSEAD in Paris.

Gerry P. SMITH Senior Vice President, Global Supply Chain
Gerry Smith joined the Lenovo Group in August 2006 as senior vice president, global supply chain, and is responsible for end-to-end supply chain management encompassing order management, supply/demand planning, procurement, manufacturing and logistics. He has established a sustainable management structure with unyielding attention to detail that has resulted in a more agile and effective supply chain. Under his leadership, the supply chain has increased customer satisfaction and improved serviceability results, while simultaneously reducing end-to-end and materials costs. For his accomplishments, Mr. Smith earned 2009 Supply Chain Executive of the Year award at the SCM Logistics World 2009 conference. At the same time, Lenovo won the 2009 Supply Chain Excellence award that applauds innovation and superior execution in supply chain management.
Before joining Lenovo, Mr. Smith was vice president and general manager of the display line of business for Dell, Inc. In that role, he was responsible for all development, procurement and operations worldwide. Concurrently, he led the start-up of the Singapore Design Centre and managed its integrated global supply chain. Prior to that, he was vice president of the Worldwide Peripherals Development and Procurement Group, where he helped define and operate the company’s industry-leading global supply chain. Mr. Smith also served in numerous other management assignments at Dell, including: vice president and general manager of the Inspiron notebook division; director of peripheral development; director of storage procurement; and several marketing assignments.
From 1987 to 1993, Mr. Smith worked at Definicon, where he managed sales, marketing, procurement and operations for this technology start-up. Prior to Definicon, he worked as a financial analyst with EDS.
Mr. Smith holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Marketing from Pacific Lutheran University. He is a member of the SCM World Speaker Faculty, comprised of world’s leading academics and supply chain industry experts.

Xiaoyan WANG Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer
Xiaoyan Wang, senior vice president at Lenovo, was appointed chief information officer in March 2009. She is responsible for Lenovo's information technology strategy and operations including all aspects of Lenovo's global IT infrastructure, business applications development, support and maintenance, as well as information service delivery and security. Under Ms. Wang’s leadership, the Information Technology organization is working closely with Lenovo’s internal business partners in designing IT strategies, processes and architecture to support Lenovo’s Think, Idea, mature and emerging market segments.
Ms. Wang joined Lenovo in 1994 and has held several posts including chief administrative officer heading corporate functions such as Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, and corporate administration. She has also led various technical service organizations at Lenovo. Ms. Wang was part of the team that worked on the groundbreaking Lenovo’s acquisition of IBM’s PC business. Prior to Lenovo, she worked in various areas including R&D engineering, technical service and project management.
Ms. Wang holds a master’s degree of science in mechanical technology and automation from Beijing Institute of Technology, and an EMBA from China-Europe International Business School (CEIBS).
In 1999, Ms. Wang was honored by the Chinese Academy of Science as one of its “Outstanding Women.” Ms. Wang is also a trustee of the CEIBS Education Charity organization, which provides financial support for the education of underprivileged children.

WONG Wai Ming Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Wong Wai Ming is senior vice president and chief financial officer of Lenovo. Prior to his current role, Mr. Wong was an independent non-executive director of the company since 1999. He has more than 15 years of experience in investment banking and was a member of the Listing Committee of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong, Limited.
Mr. Wong holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Sciences from the Victoria University of Manchester, U.K. He is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
