Netbooks, students a perfect match

For students, the ability to take their work wherever they go is a major benefit in the technology-crazed world. Students who don't want to carry around heavier laptops constantly may want to look at their smaller counterparts.

Netbook computers are smaller and lighter than laptops, but offer internet access and can store schoolwork documents. The devices are a great companion for a busy student and offer the flexibility to carry the device without much of an issue.

While tablets are gaining steam and affecting PC sales, they don't offer the same functionality to complete work, especially for students. The devices offer no physical keyboard unless an external dock is purchased. This is an issue netbooks don't suffer from.
