Gaming computers need more power

For any serious gamer, the right desktop or laptop computer is the most important aspect. Not everyone has the same amount of resources to purchase the ultimate gaming computer, but there are must-haves in the PC market.

Opting for the largest screen is a sure-fire way to offer a greater gaming experience. Gamers don't want to be missing out on some fast-paced action viewing a tiny computer screen.

While the viewing experiencing is crucial, performance is the most important. Gaming computers are not designed to store documents or create PowerPoint presentations -- they are designed to offer greater speed and graphics.

It's no question that manufacturers promote their PCs to general consumers and not hardcore gamers.

"But the needs of gamers aren’t like that of the average Joe, and they certainly don’t want to be constrained by a certain CPU and GPU," wrote Natalie Shoemaker for PCMagazine, a PC consumer guide. "They need more customization than what these major PC manufacturers offer when configuring your laptop."
